A Massive Nothing 2011
In 2011 these videos were surfacing on You Tube, often from North America where women were sharing their experiences of home birth as an alternative to medical intervention and huge financial costs. Could the digital movies change how we understand origin, how will it feel to see the place of ones own birth and what draws spectators to witness these films? I had recently attended a birth and had filmed and edited the event, I asked sitters to watch the film and photographed their reactions.
